Vision and Mission
Studying is better together
We all know it: Medical school involves a lot of memorisation and bookwork. While this is important and difficult to replace, these methods come with constant stress and a lot of lonely cramming. At the same time, we have experienced ourselves how little this knowledge helps you when you start work in the hospital.
While this is important and difficult to replace, these methods come with constant stress and a lot of lonely cramming. At the same time, we have experienced ourselves how little this knowledge helps you when you start work in the hospital.
It is not surprising that medicine is one of the loneliest professions (1, 2). Being lonely is not healthy, and constant stress isn't particularly helpful for learning, either.
Our mission is to change that.
You should have more opportunities to have fun with your colleagues, while also doing something proactive for your medical knowledge.
Through the interactive guessing game you will quickly remember more about an illness. You'll be surprised at how much Asystole: The Game not only makes you chuckle, but also triggers interesting conversations about medicine and helps to build communication skills.
We stand for breaking down barriers, such as unnecessarily difficult language that creates distance between clinicians and their patients.
We are all social beings who love to have fun. Let's use this to become better doctors.
